It was such a joy meeting Eliza and Elizabeth for their photoshoot. From the moment we met, they were so easy to connect with, and it was wonderful getting to spend time with them while capturing this exciting season of their lives. Their genuine love for one another made every moment feel effortless, and it was such a privilege to document the connection they share.
One of my favorite parts of engagement sessions is getting to know each couple before their wedding day. It gives us the opportunity to build a relationship, helps everyone feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and creates a relaxed environment where authentic moments can naturally unfold. Seeing Eliza and Elizabeth laugh together, encourage one another, and simply enjoy being together made this session so much fun.
I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of their journey to marriage and even more excited to be their wedding photographer. It means so much to celebrate their love through my passion for photography and preserve memories they'll look back on for years to come. Knowing that I'll be there to document one of the most meaningful days of their lives is truly an honor.

How do we justify change?
Change isn't just frightening, it fills us with doubt. It makes us question whether turning over a new leaf and letting go of parts of ourselves is really worth it. So how do we cross that threshold and move forward into the uncertainty of change?
I think it's much simpler than we make it out to be: just keep going. The people in our lives who truly value us will rally behind us with words of encouragement. The rest is just noise. If the people around you can only focus on what you lack or find very little to appreciate in you, why keep them around?
Accept the change and the path it leads you down, but don't abandon the things you love or the person you are at your core. Growth doesn't require you to erase yourself. It simply asks you to continue, even when doubt insists you shouldn't.
Don't focus on impressing people who can't see past your flaws or who try to project their own egos by making comments that stab you full of doubt. There's a younger version of you who would be amazed by how much you've grown and excited to know that one day they become the person you are now.
Instead, focus on the people who see your dreams, believe in you, and feel inspired by your journey.

things that we’ve lost
"No man can walk out on his own story."
It's one of my favorite quotes from the 2011 film Rango. Years ago, I never would have imagined that this scene would come to hold so much meaning for me.
In a way, all films try to tell us something about ourselves, even if we're not ready to hear it yet. But when your journey brings you to its darkest moment, the ordeal, you begin to understand how certain scenes can resonate, whether they're fact or fiction. Sometimes we're finally ready to hear the meaning behind the things we experience.
2025 was a complete shitshow. 2026 is the year I finally step into the frame.
In life, there aren't always right or wrong moments to do things especially when it comes to taking a chance on yourself. We don't need to wait for the precise moment to do the things we want. Every sunset is a milestone, a chance to reflect on the day that's passed. Every sunrise is an opportunity to do something about it.
You could argue there's an exit for if you’re done writing their stories. But our stories continue long after we're gone, living on in the people whose lives we've touched. There is no walking out on that.
